grand prix de monte carlo

since the beginning of the michael schumacher era, i do not remember ferrari having a fruitful, non-controversial race weekend. my friends and i believed that it was a :jinx" for the team to win this race as once upon a time they did and had a miserable season from monaco onwards.
to me, it has always been the most boring race weekend in the entire formula1 calendar. i would rather see a race at the indy (indianapolis) circuit then at the monaco street circuit. for one there is no overtaking at all, and secondly this weekend was plagued with rains ..... the perfect makings of a disaster.

well i have reason to believe that this jinx has been passed on from the schumi-brawn-todt era to the massa-kimi-dominicelli era .... as i witnessed the most depressingly pedestrians performance by the reigning world champion and his partner in what seemed to be a very well balanced car.
its surprising how rain can undo all the hard work put in at the pre qualifying and qualifying sessions... boy ! i would really love to see schumi drive this car ....

and to top it all, force india having done all the hard work, were victim to kimis desperate stunts .. as he drove his nose into the rear of sutils car .. who btw was in 4th position with only 8 laps to go !! depressing non-sense ....

maybe its for the good that ferrari dint do well .. hamilton won a well driven race ... and fans have to sit through 2 more of these boring street circuits, at valencia and the singapore night race ... both in their inaugural years ... i hope it doesn't rain ... if it does we know where the weekends are heading towards ...
