one of the most pointless juries (obviously in my mind !!) came to an end yesterday ... hell ! it dint even feel like a "JURY" for the respected jurors (ahem ! what i have cough dun be judgemental) came into college rather late ... maybe they wert informed that THEY ARE NOT ATTENDING A P A R T Y !!!!!!!!!!
2 external jurors ! yeah how exciting !! but wait ... the others that are marking internally are orangish n sra .... who graced us with there presnce (on time .. duh ! yeah i know its not that obvious) .. on time because the jury started late !!! (there .. now i am happy) infact one of them just graced us with his/her presence .. forget early or late ..
how exciting .. beyond this no hand drafting .. blah blah..
but theres a catch .. we had to wait out a peiod of rather casual interactions .. n nasal voices ..
ooh ! now is the best part of his RANT !!
well i was greeted by a certain ma'am mehta ... who was busy involved with her nokia phone !! (yeah i knw .. spme practicing architects can afford fancy phones to play with during juries) and when i spoke that nasla voice kept interrupting me saying : "we already know that !" f#ckin hell ! speak for urself ... u know it .. my guide knows it ..... but maybe in his pink thoughts he forgot THAT THE EXTERNAL JUROR WAS NOT A PART OF THE DESIGN STUDIO.
in me mind respect comes mutually .. you give some n u get some ..
at the end of it all !!
everyone has to sit for a forced discussion ...
yeah well forced .. i can proove it !!
all of us are got damn sleepy !! hungry !!
and well well wat do u know ? one of the faculty members who rarely shows up is signalling that its 2 in the afternoon n shes hungry .......... WTF ?

n when asked questions .. they just convinently work there way around it ... YEAH I KNOW HOW STUPID OF ME TO ASK .... WHEN I HAD DISCOVRED THIS A YEAR BACK ... WHAT A FOOL I AM .. HAHAHAHAHAH !!
i am sorry : mr.AR.nuru karim , mr.AR. pinkesh shah, AR.sameera ma'am, AR.mehta ma'am (u see its not that hard to respect people)........... my father cannot afford to pay the fees of BIG SHOT ARCHITECTS like you all .............

as for my jury :
maybe its my vocabulary ... maybe i am not a good orator (like our friend mark antony who comes to bur caesar)... maybe i am destined to be a draftsman .. or maybe its just another maybe ....
it has happened to often in the past three years ... and this post has opened out new horizons for me ...
if autocad dun do it for me ... i should just become a draftsman in some office who prefers hand drwgs to dwg files ..
or maybe a bmc guy who looks at plans and how well the bldg works ..
or maybe just another guy .. in the city ...
who knows ? for all of these do not require LOGIC !
maybe i am just a wrong person doing the wrong thing ...
i cannot get romantic about things unnecessarily !
i do not seem to have an asthetic sense !
i do not seem to be much of an architect anyway !
i cannot use "big" english words on demand !
i cannot get litteral about concepts and responses !
i am not much of a formalist !
maybe subtleness finds no room in academia !
its all because i feel that responsibility as a designer comes before "play"
maybe i am not different !
maybe i do not go out of the way to be different !
maybe my gut instinct is wrong all the time !
maybe i cannot take the course to casually and risk my future!
or maybe its just the jamnabai typology!
or or .. scores of people who misunderstand me ........ all the time !!!
MAYBE WE SHOULS GIVE THT EGOISTIC FACULTY MEMBER A PROJECT TO DO AND THEN SEE HOW WELL SHE TAKES IT !!! i hope she does not call us c$!tiyas and ask us to sell vada pavs ..
all in all as of now i am heading fo a brilliant furture as a draftsman !
who knows maybe my drawings will appear in books that fill up academic library like the one in my college drawings of other buildings that is ... !!
hahahaa how exciting !!!
we are even going to be experimented upon next year . yipee !!!!!! one more of those !! we are like guniea pigs !! how cool is that !!!!!!!!!!!
hope for many more such juries in the future ...
wat aam i aying .. only three more and its back to the drawing board for me .. !!
dint qutie miss the hungry guy though !
